Following on from the success of these challenges and despite the fact I complete my 365(6) challenge on the 1st Jan 2013, I would like to carry on and I enjoy doing these lists.
It could not be easier…
Simply Nominate your word to this forum post and it may be included. You can nominate as many words as you like and if you see a word you like, just add it again... (the more times a word is mentioned, the more chance it will be used).
I will then count up the number of times that a word has been added and the top 31 will be our list for Jan13.
Please Plan-4-Jan between now (26th) and the Mid-day Sunday (30th) for them to be included. If you have a word that you would like to see on a particular day, please nominate which day as well, for example: ‘New Year’ on the 1st?
A couple of dates from me: (please suggest them again if you want them in the list).
21st - National Hugging Day
26th - Australia Day and apparently the 13th is International Sceptics Day. But I find that hard to believe?
The birthday of Scotland's most famous poet, Robert Burns (1759-1796), celebrated with great festivity by the Scots. Burns Suppers are traditional celebrations on this day.
But I think you're wrong on the Chinese year - the year of the Dragon is the current year - runs from Jan 23rd 2012 to Feb 9 2013. Then it becomes the year of the Snake.
I had fun in November... I'll go again
